- Wolfmother
Black Sabbath, The White Stripes, The Stooges. There aren't many bands worth their salt that want to be compared to other bands, but when I listen to Wolfmother's self-titled American debut, I can't help but be reminded of those three other bands. [...] - Bryan Chaffin
- Belle & Sebastian
The Life Pursuit is a sort of Reeses Peanut Butter Cup. You get Belle & Sebastian's peanut butter (its wistful, often irresistible pop) dipped in a 'Have A Nice Day!' and glam 70s chocolate. Although I'm guessing that most Belle & Sebastian [...] - Robyn Weisman

- Veronica Mars Finale (3.19 & 3.20) - "Weevils Wobble" & "The Bitch is Back"
Where do you start with something that's ended? Two great episodes – classic Veronica Mars – tag-teaming to resemble a season finale…but it's really a series finale. The whole first hour I kept wondering why she looked so happy when she knew it was almost over.
- Veronica Mars 3.18 - "I Know What You'll Do Next Summer"
Do you get the feeling things in Neptune are winding down? Everyone's positioned to move on to his or her respective positions for the summer. Maybe the never-ending summer? We'll find out any minute now whether the show is kaput, fast-forwarded, or coming back for sophomore year. [Editor's Note: CW announced Thursday that Veronica Mars has been canceled. - Editor]
- Veronica Mars 3.17 - "Debasement Tapes"
I tell ya, I just love this show. Yes, it has its ups and downs, and OK, it will never live up to the first season, but come on, people, this is good television! Funny, and edgy, and topical, and kick ass, too.
- Veronica Mars 3.16 - "Un-American Graffiti"
t's good to be back, isn't it? For how much longer, we don't know. Word is Veronica might join the establishment after all and become an FBI agent all grown up. Do you think she'll be more like Scully or Clarice?
- Veronica Mars 3.15 - "Papa's Cabin"
Never trust a guy in a wig. Unless you're a politician in 1776, a wig is just creepy -- but yes, folks, a troll in a wig murdered the dean to frame Professor Landry to get back at him for not giving him a good recommendation for a teaching job.
- Veronica Mars 3.13: "Mars, Bars"
Hot dames ruled the day in this week's noir masterpiece. Veronica sported sexy stripes in her jail cell, while Parker took it off in pursuit of a big red heart balloon, Mrs. Dean channeled Veronica Lake, and Mac finally had some good times.
- Veronica Mars Season 3.13: "Postgame Mortem"
Don't underestimate the healing power of children. Just a whiff of their unsullied outlook on life is all it takes to make a fresh start. We should have known when Devil Dick's whispers in Logan's ear didn't pull him out of his hole that it would take the innocence of an angel to set him right again. How sweet...in a cloying, obvious sort of way.
- Veronica Mars Season 3.12: "There's Got to Be a Morning After Pill"
I don't blame Veronica for how badly this episode sucked. She did what she needed to do. But this week's mystery? Completely unbelievable. And in the end, she didn't even solve the mystery.
- Veronica Mars Season 3.11: "Poughkeepsie, Tramps and Theives"
Ah sweet love. You've got to admit it's nice to see Logan smiling again. He can be soooo broody and awful that the turnaround is extra special. In the first few moments of this episode I wasn't so sure I was going to enjoy the doomed lovebirds together again
- Veronica Mars Season 3.10: "Show Me The Monkey"
College is all about experimenting…with monkeys. At least that's what Veronica learns as she returns from winter break. Now if she would just apply that same maxim to dating, she might be able to pry herself away from broody Logan and take a dip in the Piz.
- Veronica Mars: Seasons 1, 2, and 3 (So Far) Recap
Let's recap the last two and a half seasons to see where we stand at this point. I must say, Veronica's life isn't the easiest one to stay on top of. Am I the only one who still doesn't quite understand what happened with the whole bus crash thing? I swear I was paying attention...
