A Day in the Life of iPhone - with Reporter Attached

Reporter Daniel Terdiman with CNET decided to let his new iPhone 3G run his life for a day in Seattle. He found all the apps he needed in the App Store.
His day of coverage of the Gnomedex Conference started with LocalEat, a free app that list the hundred best places to eat in 50 major U.S. cities. That led him to Beths Cafe. While there, he decided to let his followers on Twitter know what he was doing, so he fired up Twitterator.
The authors needs through out the day, including monitoring some iffy weather, were all met nicely by the apps available for his iPhone. The article includes a photo gallery of all the apps he used.
At the end of the day, Mr. Terdiman reflected that hed be unlikely to spend more than a dollar on any app ... except for that US$10 that he knows hell be spending on Super Monkey Ball.
Thats a story for another day, he added.
