Album Cover Finder 5.0 Offers New Search Engine
Tuesday, October 10th, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Amphonic Designs has released version 5.0 of Album Cover Finder for Mac OS X, featuring a new search engine that can locate artwork without requiring artist and album names. The utility returns up to four albums that match each song; the user selects the correct one and it fills in the artist and album names. It pulls artwork from Amazon.com's Canadian, French, German, Japanese, U.K., and U.S. databases.
This is a free update for registered users; the full version is US$9. The developer has not released Album Cover Finder 5.0 for Windows yet; that version is still at 4.2.
