Altec Lansing Debuts High-End iPod Speakers

Altec Lansing on Wednesay introduced a new set of high-end speakers for use with the iPod. The M602 feature two three-inch full-range drivers and two one-inch silk dome tweeters, built-in XdB bass enhancement technology, composite video out for connecting a video iPod to a TV, and a built-in iPod dock for transferring music via USB and recharging the device.
Other features include an extra universal cradle for plugging in other types of MP3 players, a remote control and a headphone jack. A wall mount kit is available for free from Altec Lansing’s Web site. The M602 sells for US$199.95 and is compatible with all iPods that have a dock port.
