Apple Airs User Inspired iPod touch Ad

Apple’s latest iPod touch commercial began airing over the weekend, and is also available on the company’s Web site. This commercial stands out from Apple’s other ads in that it was inspired by a fan-created iPod touch commercial that first appeared on YouTube.

18 year old Nick Haley was contacted by Apple’s advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day about reshooting his ad and airing it on television. The new version closely follows Mr. Haley’s original, and even includes the song he used in his home made ad: Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex by CSS.
