Apple Dominates T3’s Awards

Apple dominated the awards categories of the UK’s gadget site, T3. The iPhone won the award for the Most Anticipated Gadget for 2007, but Apple dominated in other categories, winning six of the 25 in all.

"The iPhone scooped Most Anticipated Gadget for 2007, as voted for by Sky News online readers, while the iPod romped home with the titles of Best Commuter Gadget, Best Music Gadget and Best Gadget of All Time, as voted for by readers of thesun.co.uk," T3 reported.

The awards won were:

Most Anticipated gadget of 2007: iPhone; runner up: Sony PSP Slim.

The Drop Dead Gorgeous Award: Apple MacBook Pro; runner up: LG Prada.

Top Commuter Gadget: Apple iPod; runner up: Archos 704.

Best Music Gadget: Apple iPod; runner up: Sonos Bundle.

The Best Gadget of All Time: Apple iPod; runner up: Sky+.

The Best Dowinload Service: Apple iTunes Store; runner up: Emusic.

"It’s clearly been a fruitful year for Apple (sorry), and the T3 Awards show just how well regarded they are, not just by us hacks, but by readers too. Apple, enjoy your success, it’s clearly well deserved," T3 concluded.
