Apple Unveils iTunes Store Best of 2006 Chart

Apple Computer announced Tuesday the iTunes Store Best of 2006, a new chart for the top selling singles and albums sold thought iTunes. Coming in as the #1 single of the year (so far) is "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter, while How to Save a Life by The Fray was the #1 album. The chart also includes the top Staff Picks for albums (Taking the Long Way by The Dixie Chicks) and singles ("Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley).

As of this writing, the following are the Top 10 albums and singles for 2006.
