Apple Updates iTunes U

Apple has improved its iTunes U service that lets colleges and universities take advantage of the iTunes Music Store's content management system to distribute educational recordings to students and faculty. According to Playlist, instructors can now post their audio or video lectures themselves, saving the campus IT staff from an extra workload. Students can upload their own content, as well.
Students and faculty can use iTunes U to download lectures, interviews, and other school related content to view or listen to on their computer or iPod.
The iTunes U program has been successful in test programs at Stanford, Duke, and the University of Michigan. Other schools are on board now, and the program is growing.
