Apple Updates iTunes to 6.0.1

Apple Computer released iTunes 6.0.1 late on Thursday, a minor maintenance release that features several "stability improvements" over iTunes 6. The company did not note any further specifics on those stability improvements.

The company also noted that, "After purchasing music from the iTunes Music Store with iTunes 6 or later, you will also need to upgrade your other computers that purchase music from the iTunes Music Store to iTunes 6.0.1."

The update weighs in at 12.8 MB, and can be found through Software Update in Mac OS X, and under "Check for iTunes updates" in the iTunes help menu in Windows (some Windows users will find that iTunes will automatically check for updates when launched).
