Apple to Host Media Event September 9th, New iPod Likely

Apple confirmed the most recent rumors Tuesday by sending out invitations for a media event to be held in San Francisco on September 9th, 2008. The invitation sent to The Mac Observer and iPodObserver.com includes the kind of imagery used by the company to promote its iPod product line, which strongly suggests the company is unveiling new iPods or the holiday shopping season.
The event will be held in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on September 9th, starting at 10:00 AM Pacific. The Mac Observer and iPodObserver.com will be on hand for the event to cover Apple’s announcements.
