Applists.com Updates Website, Seeks to Help iPhone Developers

The Elias Corporation has updated their Applists.com Website to version 2.0 and has announced a call for better quality apps for Safari in the iPhone.

"First, we needed to build the infrastructure to help iPhone owners find, access and share their apps more easily," says Elias Corporation CEO Bill Denk. "We accomplished this with our release of Applists.com version 2.0. Now, we’re ready to help raise the quality of the apps."

To achieve that, Applists.com will bring developers and iPhone owners together by creating a platform for user suggestions and allowing users to identify apps they’ve found.

Conversely, the site will assist developers with access to user feedback and application performance. In addition, a certification program is being developed to advise users which apps have been built to iPhone standards.

"We realized from the development and design of the Applists UI, that a superior mobile interface could be built using the Safari/Web 2.0/AJAX platform for the iPhone," said Mike Judd, Senior Developer for Elias Corporation. "...we’re calling upon developers to show just how good they are by continuing to raise the bar of the mobile user experience for iPhone owners around the world...."

Applists.com is built for Apple Safari 3.0 for use with iPhones, Macs and PCs. Registration is free.
