Avanquest Software on Monday released PodMediaCreator and DVD2POD, two Windows applications that enable users to create iPod-ready multimedia content and to convert videos to the video iPod-compatible format. PodMediaCreator features a Video Creation Studio where users can edit and personalize videos with soundtracks and text; a Photo Studio for putting together slideshows; and a Music Studio for cutting and mixing MP3 files.
DVD2POD features two modes: wizard and advanced. The former walks the user through the conversion process while the latter enables them to select from various video and audio parameters.
PodMediaCreator and DVD2POD are US$29.95 each. Product pages were not available on the Avanquest Web site as iPod Observer posted this article.
