Block Breaker Deluxe Game Comes to iPod

The latest game to come to the iPod is Gameloft’s Block Breaker Deluxe, which updates the Breakout paradigm with a jet-set story in which players travel through 50 nightlife-based levels as they try to accomplish different goals, such as completing a level without losing a life. The game features 11 types of bricks and 14 power-ups.
Gameloft noted that it revamped the game’s graphics, which were originally designed with cell phones in mind, for the iPod, with new animation effects. The developer also offers a Level Editor that players can use to create custom levels and import them into the game, as well as share them with others.
Like other iPod games, Block Breaker Deluxe is US$4.99 and can be purchased through the iTunes store. It’s compatible only with the iPod nano with video, iPod classic, and 5G iPod.
