Callpod Introduces Chargepod Device Charger

Callpod announced last week Chargepod, a device charger intended to simplify charging a wide range of portable electronic devices.The device can be customized with product specific adapters for each spoke, and each adapter sells for US$9.95.

Currently, iPod users will have to select a USB adapter and plug the USB plug of their 30-pin connector or dock into the USB port. Callpod reported that they are working with Apple to provide a direct, 30-pin connector.

The Chargepod is available immediately and is priced at US$49.95 without adapter cables.
