- The Strokes
The Strokes set the music world on fire with this 2001 album, with headlines declaring that the New York band was here to save Rock and Roll. While the band hasn't made as much of a splash since t
- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Canadian iPhone Petition Launched
Sunday, March 30th, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
A petition page has been launched for Canadian Apple customers who would like to tell Apple and Rogers Communications that they want to buy an Apple iPhone. The petition was launched by iPhoneWorld.ca and iPhoneInCanada.ca.
The petition letter notes that the iPhone has been launched in the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Ireland and Austria. However, since February 2007, Rogers, in a form letter, has only said that they are working actively with Apple to launch the iPhone in Canada as soon as possible.
By signing the petition, the customer states: "We pledge that if the iPhone was released in Canada by Rogers Communications Inc. and Apple Inc, we would purchase an iPhone along with a monthly data plan."
The reasons for the absence of the iPhone in Canada remain inexplicable.
