DLO’s HomeDock Deluxe Enables iPod Navigation Via TV
Monday, January 9th, 2006 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
SAN FRANCISCO -- Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Tuesday introduced the HomeDock Deluxe, which enables users to navigate their iPods through their TV screens and play music, videos and slideshows. It connects via an RCA or S-Video port and comes with a built-in screensaver that protects the TV from burn-in.
The new version of the HomeDock, which will ship in March with a US$149.99 price tag, includes a 20-button remote control, an AC power supply, a six-foot AV cable, a USB port and a powered speaker adapter. It charges the iPod while the MP3 player is docked; the USB port can be used for charging and enables syncing the iPod with a computer. HomeDock Deluxe is compatible with all iPods that feature dock connectors.
