Both Apple and AT&T have posted FAQs on the iPhone. These are the essentials that Apple and AT&T want customers to know about. However, David Pogue at the New York Times on Thursday answered some of the more intriguing questions that Apple may not have fully addressed.
Some of the questions Mr. Pogue answered were:
- Does the touch screen work if one is wearing gloves?
- Will the iPhone work overseas?
- Does the iPhone have voice dialing?
- Can one download new ring tones?
- Can the iPhone serve as a wireless modem for a laptop?
- Is there a disk mode like the iPods?
- Does the iPhone support VPN?
- Are there any secret features?
In the process of answering these any many more questions, Mr Pogue pointed out that Apple has previously said they will be adding features to the iPhone, so some of the "no" answers could become "coming soon."
