Delapod Displays Line of Handbags with Special iPod Features
Wednesday, July 13th, 2005 at 3:00 PM - by John F. Braun
BOSTON -- The iPod is an indispensable companion when you're out and about, but it can be a hassle to juggle another device to carry around. This can be a special challenge for some women who need to carry--among other things--a purse.
The good folks at Delapod have risen to the challenge and designed a line of handbags with special accommodations for purse-toting iPod and iPod mini owners. The principal feature of these bags is a special compartment which can hold the iPod while protecting it from collisions both inside and outside the bag. The window to the outside world is transparent, so one can both see what is playing on the iPod and manipulate the controls.
Delapod Handbag with iPod Accommodations
The second great feature of this bag is a small hole on either side of the bag which can be used to help manage cables. The hole is just large enough to insert the headphone cord. Delapod offers both handbags and larger backpacks in a variety of styles, colors and textures. The bags are available immediately, and are priced starting at $49.
