Directed Debuts Soloist Universal Media Dock

Directed Electronics, Inc. on Thursday introduced Soloist Universal Media Dock, which includes interchangeable cradles for docking various Sirius satellite radio receivers as well as iPods. Soloist, which will ship in September with a US$149 price tag, also features SurfaceSound flat panel speaker technology by NXT, a 10-watt-per-channel TriPath amplifier, front panel auxiliary in and headphone jacks, rear panel auxiliary in and out and USB ports, and a built-in alarm clock with a snooze button.
