Bowie at Beeb: Best of BBC Radio 68-72
- David Bowie
The companion CD to a BBC television concert, BBC Radio Theatre has some of the best renditions of many of Bowie's best songs throughout his career. "I'm Afraid of Americans" is substantial
- Phish
- This quasi-concept album (the only of its kind) from these Vermonters finally showcased their ability to convey a message with a studio album, whereas previously they only succeeded in doing so live.
- Beck
Beck is the modern master of the groove, and Guero is merely the latest example of this. From the opening power chords of "E-Pro," to the Pac-Man cuteness of "Girl," to the dirge-like lullab

Disney Offers Feature Length Movie Downloads
Wednesday, May 31st, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Disney's Buena Vista movie division has entered into an agreement with CinemaNow to to offer full length movie downloads. According to Forbes, 30 Disney titles are already available. Starting with the release of Glory Road on June 6, Disney plans on making movies available for download on the same day they are released on DVD.
Disney's movie download library won't include Pixar movies, and it won't include Macs, either. CinemaNow is a Windows-only service, and requires Windows Media Player 10 or higher. CinemaNow is considering adding the option to offer movie downloads for portable devices like the iPod and PSP.
Since Buena Vista, like all movie distribution companies, is looking to increase revenues where ever possible, it's not likely that Disney will pull any of its content from the iTunes Music Store (iTMS). It's not saying, however, if it plans on distributing any movies through Apple's online media service.
Disney started offering the made for TV movie High School Musical at the iTMS in March. No theatrical release feature-length movies are currently being offered through Apple.
