- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

EA Reveals Plans For SimCity on iPhone

Electronic Arts has revealed that SimCity will come to the iPhone in December with a US$10 price tag. While it will simply be called SimCity, its based on SimCity 3000, an EA representative told iPodObserver.com.
Players will be able to tap the screen to build, manage and destroy their city as well as pinch and pull to zoom in on and out of the 2D isometric landscape.
The gameplay will follow the tried-and-true formula established by designer Will Wright two decades ago: planning residential and commercial areas, managing everything from budgets to taxes, building roads, and wiping out all that hard work with such disasters as tornados, earthquakes, and giant monsters.
EA said that a few contemporary things will find their way into the game, including eco-friendly green buildings, mobile phone towers, and quantum computing centers.
EA also provided screenshots that are subject to change but give a good idea of what to expect. Theyre marked "FPO" because theyre for preview purposes only.
