- Okay, someone had to say it, and though others on the iPO staff are more qualified to review this album, I decided the time was now. This is the quintessential concept album. Though others came before
- Alanis Morissette
- Ten years after the original release, comes the traditional celebratory acoustic re-recording. The album has held up remarkably well. While it is not as meaningful to me as it was when I was sixteen,
- U2
- This record is perhaps U2's finest hour, yet it has been forgotten as a strange by-product of the ZooTV tour's overload, and is generally regarded by most fans as a poor effort. It is this sentiment t

ETCHamac Introduces iPod and Powerbook Etching Service
Tuesday, July 12th, 2005 at 3:00 PM - by John F. Braun
BOSTON -- Roaming the Macworld show floor always reveals a few surprises, and this show is no different. While roaming past the ETCHamac booth, we couldn't help but notice the very cool looking array of iPods and PowerBooks with what we assumed were stick-on labels with various logos. Upon closer inspection, however, we learned that the designs were actually etched onto the respective devices by a CO2 laser.
Etched iPod
Not to worry, the laser is low power and will not damage your device. You can either submit your own artwork, or have the folks at ETCHamac work with you to design the perfect image to put on your device. The pricing of the service ranges from $20 to $40 for an iPod, and from $35 to $200 for a PowerBook, depending on the image type and size.
Based on the traffic to the company's booth, ETCHamac's first trip to Macworld, the service will be a hit with iPod users.
