FlexPed for iPod, Other Portable Devices Now Shipping

Thought Out Co. on Thursday announced that its new FlexPed, which was introduced last month, is now shipping. The company said at the time that the flexible pedestal, which can be mounted in a car, on a wall or virtually anywhere else, would sell for less than US$50; the shipping price is $39.99. FlexPed uses the same adjustable mechanism found in Thought Out's Ped2 desktop pedestal, enabling it to accommodate an iPod as well as a wide variety of other portable devices.
