U2's latest entry is a mostly underwhelming collection of songs that does very little to sound any different from its equally pedestrian predecessor, 2000's "All That You Can't Leave Behind." While

Ford, General Motors, Mazda to Offer iPod Integration
Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Apple on Thursday said that Ford, General Motors, and Mazda will offer iPod integration across most of their upcoming brands and models. The company noted that over 70% of the 2007 model year cars sold in the U.S. will feature iPod integration.
Mazda's entire lineup of cars and SUVs will include iPod integration, while GM will make it available in 56% of its vehicles, which include the Saab, Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Saturn, Hummer, and Cadillac brands. Ford, which also produces the Lincoln Mercury brand, said that its 2007 model year Edge, Explorer, Expedition, Mustang, Fusion, Sport Trac, Ranger, F-150, Mercury Milan, Mountaineer, Lincoln MKX, Lincoln MKZ, Navigator and Lincoln Mark LT vehicles will have3.5mm auxiliary input jacks that accommodate the iPod as well as other MP3 players.
Early next year, Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers will offer Ford’s TripTunes Advanced, which integrates an iPod with the stereo system and recharges it at the same time. Drivers will be able to use their steering wheel or stereo controls to shuffle songs and skip between tracks and playlists.
Apple has a Web page that details which manufacturers currently offer iPod integration in their vehicles.
