Free iPod Battery Recycling Program

FastMac announced a free iPod battery recycling program today. The program is open to anyone who purchased a third party replacement iPod battery and needs to dispose of their old one. TruePower Batteries purchases from FastMac include prepaid padded envelopes for returning the used battery. For batteries purchased from other vendors, the user picks up the shipping costs. Returned batteries are properly disposed of, and all of the reusable components and chemicals are recovered.
