This timeless masterpiece is little known, but it has inspired almost as many bands as The Modern Lovers' own inspiration -- and only slightly better known -- The Velvet Underground & Nico.

When you think of Jesus Jones, chances are you can't remember them at all, or you vaguely remember "Right Here, Right Now" because it has been use
- R.E.M.

- Massive Attack

From the Show Floor - Fonpods Delivers Podcasts on the Phone
Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at 4:00 PM - by John F. Braun
Ontario, CA -- Fōnpods announced a service that has the potential to open up the world of podcasting to a whole new audience that doesnt even need a computer to access the content. Ted Heieck, Fōnpods Founder, gave us more information about the service at this weeks Podcast and Portable Media Expo.
Fōnpods provides convenient, mobile access to digital audio content, such as an audio podcast, via a device most anybody owns - namely, a telephone. Users can use a traditional landline phone, a VoIP phone, and even a mobile phone to access podcast content no matter where they are.
After creating an account with at least their email address, a password, and a phone number, Fōnpods users can visit the Web site to select the podcasts theyd like to include in their personalized feed. The next time the user calls the Fōnpods service, their feeds will be ready to listen to.
Best of all, the service is free for both users and content providers, and is available immediately.
