From the Show Floor: ShieldZone Struts iPod Protection

ONTARIO, CA -- ShieldZone, makers of protective films for iPods and other electronics, is entertaining attendees on the show floor at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo.

Two young women approach the booth. ShieldZone Founder Phillip Chipping grabs a box filled with rocks and a single iPod mini. "Any frustration you'd like to take out today?" he asks, closing the box and handing it over. One of the women shakes the box vigorously. Mr. Chipping opens the box and pulls out the iPod, completely unscathed, thanks to the "Invisible Shield," a military-designed plastic protecting the case.

ShieldZone is especially trumpeting its newly arrived covers for the second generation iPod nano and the new video iPods. ShieldZone's products range from about US$5 to $30.
