GimmeSomeTune 3.6 Update Adds CD Support, More

Eternal Storms Software announced Friday an update to GimmeSomeTune, brining the iTunes utility to version 3.6. The Mac software offers cover art lyric downloading features to iTunes, and the new version adds support for importing CDs and other changes.
The full update feature list:
- The user can choose to save the coverart not in the song’s ID3 tag, but in the folder the song is in. This saves disk space. GimmeSomeTune recognizes these covers and shows them, of course.
- Lyrics-fetching works again, but faster, and using less memory.
- Cover-fetching was tweaked, also. It will automatically look for covers in all amazon stores (com, co.uk, de, ca, fr, jp).
- Support for internet radio and playing directly from CDs was improved and it will show covers and lyrics for these songs.
- GimmeSomeTune won’t crash upon launch.
- A lot of bugs were fixed and there were smaller improvements.
GimmeSomeTune is freeware, while the author accepts donations. The download weighs in at 997KB, and can be found at the Eternal Storms Software Web site.
