Google Unveils Google Earth for the iPhone

Google released its Google Earth application for the iPhone and iPod touch on Monday. The handheld version of the Earth viewing application lets users search for and zoom in on specific locations, fly from location to location, check out related Wikipedia articles, and includes the same satellite imagery found in its desktop counterpart. Google Earth for the iPhone and iPod touch is free and available for download at the iTunes-based App Store.
