HAI Releases Windows Plugin for Controlling Home Control Systems from iPhone
Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) announced Tuesday WL3, an add-in for Windows Home Server that allows its customers to monitor and control a HAI Home Control System from your iPhone, or other device with a browser.
As the name suggests, Home Control System products from HAI allow users to automate various home systems like thermostats, lights, and other electronic systems. Other Home Control System products include video monitors and alarm systems. With WL3, a user can remotely monitor and control these systems remotely from an iPhone.
WL3 will ship in July, and will be priced at $329. The company has not yet added information about WL3 to its Web site, other than the press release. We have contacted the company to find out if they plan to bring Mac support to its product line, and are awaiting HAIs answer.
