HBO Interested in Delivering Shows For iPod

HBO CEO Chris Albrecht on Thursday expressed interest in delivering the network's shows for the video iPod, telling Reuters: "I'm very excited by the video iPod. At some point, I think we would have some arrangement with them."

In reporting the news, MacNN pointed out that Cingular Wireless already has plans to reveal a deal with HBO that would enable its cell phone customers to download shows. MacCentral also pointed to the Reuters story.
