    • This record is perhaps U2's finest hour, yet it has been forgotten as a strange by-product of the ZooTV tour's overload, and is generally regarded by most fans as a poor effort. It is this sentiment t

    • Goldfrapp
    • On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Harley-Davidson Offers In-Dash iPod Support

Venerable motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has embraced the digital media device revolution by adding support for iPod and other compatible device support on four of its 2006 models. The company's touring line will feature the Advanced Audio System developed by Harman/Kardon. Key features of the system include support for AM/FM radio, XM Satellite radio, support for Bluetooth connection to a cell phone, a CD player that also plays MP3 CDs, and a jack for iPod and other digital media devices.

Support for a GPS navigation system will be available in September of 2005.

A report from the American Motorcycle Association (link courtesy of Macworld UK) said that all of the features discussed above were available for journalists to try, and that they all functioned as promise. The AMA report also has additional information on all of the new 2006 models.

Harley-Davidson's move follows those of major automobile makers (BMW) and car stereo manufacturers (Alpine, Clarion) who have added support for iPods to their products, not to mention innumerable adapters that have entered the market.
