IBM Brings Web-based Lotus Support to the iPhone

IBM has finally brought Lotus Domino support to the iPhone and iPod touch, but for now it’s in the form of a Web-based application. IBM Lotus iNotes uses Mobile Safari to access IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.2 and offers access to email, calendar and contact information on the go.

IBM Lotus iNotes supports VPN connections for secure data access, and is compatible with Lotus Mobile Connect, too. Users can access email attachments,view and organize contacts, create new contacts, and more. Additional information about IBM Lotus iNotes is available at the IBM Web site.
