Go Away White is an album I've been waiting more than 20 years to hear, and the good news is that it was worth the wait. The latest -- and last, no...for real this time -- album from

- Man, there's nothing like good, old fashioned, rock and roll... add a bit of industry resentment to that with a double-shot of cynicism, and you get one of the best "new" rock bands going. This album

"In Rainbows" Hits Amazon Before iTunes
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
The insanely popular rock band Radiohead made news this fall when it let listeners pay what they like when downloading its In Rainbows album. Rumors began circulating that the band was going to offer the album through Apples iTunes Store, but it looks like Amazon will get that honor first, according to Silicon Alley Insider.

Amazon will begin offering the album for download on January 1, 2008 in MP3 format. The online launch will kick off with a free one-hour Web stream concert featuring music from the album. Radioheads Thom York called the launch event a "wee celebration."
Earlier in December, Apple confirmed that it was talking with Radiohead about distributing the album electronically, but so far the album is still missing from the iTunes Store. The negotations with Apple are significant because it marks the first time a major band has worked to side stepped the record labels to distribute its recordings through the online media store.
