Jack Black Brings Free ‘Confessionals’ to iTunes
Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Actor and comedian Jack Black will bring series of free "confessionals" about his upcoming movie Nacho Libre to the iTunes Music Store and QuickTime.com. The video podcasts will appear once a week for the 10 weeks leading up to the film's release on June 2. They feature him speaking, unscripted, from the set during filming of the movie. Each lasts one-and-a-half to four minutes.
Mr. Black stars as Ignacio, a.k.a. Nacho, a cook in a Mexican orphanage who moonlights as a wrestler nicknamed Lucha Libre. The podcasts feature him clowning around on the set, demonstrating his wrestling moves, getting his chest waxed, modeling his costume, and bringing in such guests as director Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) and screenwriter Mike White (School of Rock).
