Light Table for iPhone Creates Collages
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by John Martellaro
Lingon i Korg Software Creations announced Light Table for the iPhone on Friday. The app allows the user to utilize the gestures on the iPhone, pinch, drag, rotate and then save the collage as a screen shot.
"This is another one of those apps we really built for ourselves to boot," said Oskar Lissheim-Boethius, the founder of Lingon i Korg Software Creations. "As both photographers and designers, with a healthy love for the art of collages, we just couldnt pass up the opportunity to do something special with the iPhones revolutionary multi-touch interface. Manipulating photos in Light Table by pinching, rotating, zooming in and out, is nothing less groundbreaking than an entirely new kind of experience.
"We believe many professionals will find Light Table to be a joy to use in their daily work lives. Creating design presentations, sorting out that latest photo shoot, or drafting the next real-estate catalog, all while on the go and preparing for (or why not actually in) the next team or client meeting, is yet another brand new kind of experience."
