    • Massive Attack
    • "Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.

    • Rush
    • We all know it, right? Well, ya just gotta have it. 2112 finally showed Rush out on their own, doing their own thing, and doing it well, IMHO.

    • Alanis Morissette
    • Ten years after the original release, comes the traditional celebratory acoustic re-recording. The album has held up remarkably well. While it is not as meaningful to me as it was when I was sixteen,

    • U2
    • U2's latest entry is a mostly underwhelming collection of songs that does very little to sound any different from its equally pedestrian predecessor, 2000's "All That You Can't Leave Behind." While

    • Gimme Fiction by Spoon is a terrific album by an Austin band that I was lucky enough to catch on an Austin radio station during a Christmas visit.

Motorola Debuts RAZR V3i iTunes Phone

Motorola on Tuesday introduced three new RAZR cell phones, including one, the RAZR V3i, that comes with either Apple's iTunes or Motorola's Digital Audio Music Player software. While Cingular is currently offering Motorola's iTunes-enabled ROKR cell phone in the United States, a Motorola representative told The iPod Observer that she couldn't confirm if the carrier would be offering the new phone, nor if it would even be available with iTunes software in the U.S.

A disclaimer on Motorola's Web site states: "iTunes is not available on all models in all regions. Verify whether or not the model will have iTunes or Motorola's Digital Audio Music player with your operator at time of purchase." The Motorola representative confirmed that users should ask their RAZR V3i carrier if iTunes is available with the phone, which is due to ship later this quarter.

The Motorola RAZR V3i features a 1.23-megapixel camera with 8X digital zoom and video capture capabilities. Depending on the carrier's offerings, it also comes with SCREEN 3 technology for viewing news, sports and entertainment. It also includes an airplane mode that keeps it from connecting to the cellular network when airborne, since U.S. regulations forbid cell phone calls during flights.

The phone also offers a 262K color screen, speaker independent name and digit dialing, integrated Class 1 Bluetooth and pre-loaded games, screen savers and ring tones. It comes with a hot-swappable TransFlash memory card.
