Bowie at Beeb: Best of BBC Radio 68-72
- David Bowie
The companion CD to a BBC television concert, BBC Radio Theatre has some of the best renditions of many of Bowie's best songs throughout his career. "I'm Afraid of Americans" is substantial
- David Bowie
- It must be a lonely place to be considered David Bowie's worst album by just about everyone, including the artist himself. As the last album before Bowie "rebooted" and formed the band Tin Machine, "N
- Poe
Dropping like a bomb on some of the blah musical offerings of her contemporaries, Haunted was one of the best albums of 2000, obliterating the competition.
Ostensibly a tie-in to her brot
- Phish
- This quasi-concept album (the only of its kind) from these Vermonters finally showcased their ability to convey a message with a studio album, whereas previously they only succeeded in doing so live.

Napster Uses Provocative Ad to Take on iTunes in the UK
Thursday, November 17th, 2005 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Napster has released a new UK ad, called "Get the Whole Thing," that compares its users' ability to preview songs in their entirety with the iTunes Music Store's 30-second limitation. While Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" plays, a blonde woman dances provocatively, removing her clothes until she's wearing just a bra and panties --
And then she stops and sits down. "30-second previews leave you wanting more?" a text overlay asks. "At Napster you get the whole thing." The company's subscription-based service, which the ad says features more than 1.6 million songs, costs £9.99 in the UK. The British iTMS, which operates under the same guidelines as its American counterpart, sells individual tracks for 79 pence, with most albums available for £7.99.
The iPod Observer was alerted to Napster's new ad by a post at TrustedReviews.
