National Geographic on Tuesday said that it has formed an internal games division that will work with publishers and developers on games for consoles, computers, mobile devices, and online play. The first title is the internally developed Herods Lost Tomb, which incorporates content from the December issue of the magazine as well as the National Geographic Channel show of the same name.
The online Flash-based version of Herods Lost Tomb is available now, as is the Mac version, although the iPhone edition doesnt seem to be ready yet. A PC version is also available.
