NuPower Adds High Capacity iPod mini Battery

Newer Technology has added a higher capacity replacement battery for the iPod mini to its line of NuPower battery kits.

The 600mAh NuPower iPod mini battery is said to offer 50 percent more capacity than Apple's original battery and costs $24.95. While NuPower battery kits are user installable with included tools and online viewable installation videos, the company recommends professional installation for iPod mini and fourth-generation iPod models.

Newer Technology also offers 1800mAh and 2100mAh battery kits for first- and second-generation iPods ($29.95 and $39.95, respectively), an 850mAh battery kit for third-generation iPods ($25.95), and a 750mAh battery kit for fourth-generation iPods ($29.95).
