O’Reilly Unveils iPhone Open Application Development Rough Cuts

OReilly announced the immediate availability of a Rough Cuts version of iPhone Open Application Development on Thursday. The book by Jonathan Zdziarski explains how to write applications for the iPhone using Apples tools as well as the community-developed tools available on the Internet.

Mr. Zdziarski shows how to install the developer tool kits, and includes some background on Objective-C and code samples. The book also covers graphics and audio programming, interfacing with iTunes, coding for the iPhones built-in sensors, and more.
Rough Cuts are books in progress that are available for readers to view and comment on.
iPhone Open Application Development is priced at US$19.99 as a PDF, or $39.99 in book form. The Rough Cuts version is available now, and the completed version should be available in March.
