Mr. Zdziarski shows how to install the developer tool kits, and includes some background on Objective-C and code samples. The book also covers graphics and audio programming, interfacing with iTunes, coding for the iPhone’s built-in sensors, and more.

Rough Cuts are books in progress that are available for readers to view and comment on.

iPhone Open Application Development is priced at US$19.99 as a PDF, or $39.99 in book form. The Rough Cuts version is available now, and the completed version should be available in March.
