- Congo Norvell
Very few albums manage to capture snapshots of a quality of life in the manner that Congo Norvell's sophomore record, "Abnormals Anonymous," does.

- Bumblebeez 81
Part white rap, part alternative, part pop, and part rock, the Bumblebeez grabbed a hold of me with "Pony Ride," and didn't let go.

- The Damned
- Punk rock is mostly associated with three chords and a bad attitude, but the Damned were one of the few bands of the era bent on bringing musicianship and a good sense of humor to the scene. And while

Orange Gears Up for France iPhone Launch
Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Apples iPhone is scheduled to hit store shelves in France on Thursday, November 29, but some some cities will get a taste of what Apple and Orange have to offer a little earlier. Orange, the exclusive iPhone carrier in France, will begin selling the combination iPod and smart phone at 6:30PM in select cities on Wednesday the 28th.
Orange stores in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyons, Marseilles, Montpellier, Nancy, Nice, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse will be offering the iPhone early, and the company is also planning opening its new Paris store with the iPhone launch.
The iPhone will be available in France for Û399 (about US$588.22) with a service plan from Orange, Û549 (about US$809.36) without an "Orange for iPhone" service plan, or Û649 (about US$956.78) for without any service plan.
Orange is offering four iPhone service plans ranging from Û49 (about US$72.23) up to Û119 (about US$175.43) a month. Unlocking an iPhone for use on other carrier networks -- an option required by French law -- costs Û100.
