Podfitness.com Offers Daily Personalized Audio Workout Files
Sunday, March 12th, 2006 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Podfitness.com will launch on March 21, offering daily personalized audio files geared toward users' workout needs. For US$19.95 per month, subscribers use the Podfitness.com software to indicate their workout goals, where they work out, the equipment they use, and the types of exercises they want to do.
Podfitness then delivers personalized audio workout files hosted by one of their trainers. Users can integrate songs from their iTunes library or choose from selections in Podfitness' Power Music library. For $5 more per month, users can choose from a variety of trainers who have worked with celebrities.
Users need to download the Podfitness software to use the service. It will be available only for Windows when the site launches, but the company said that a Macintosh version is in development.
