Research Study Reveals Download Habits of Americans

In a survey of more than 2,600 Americans, age 12 or older, it was reported that nearly half of all those surveyed had downloaded music and that 18 percent had downloaded movies. That was the finding of Solutions Research Group and reported by Online Media Daily Thursday.
The report, significantly, found that only small minorities of those surveyed thought that downloading copyrighted music and movies was "not serious at all."
For those users who are on the Internet, 79 percent reported listening to music from their PCs while 47 percent had watched or downloaded a TV show or video.
While the overall findings are not unexpected, they tell a positive story about the American attitude on piracy.
