SanDisk Announces Sansa c200

SanDisk announced its new Sansa c200 MP3 player on Friday. The c200 is a Flash-based MP3 player available 1GB and 2GB capacities, but at a price point far below the iPod nano at US$79 and $99, respectively. It includes an FM tuner/recorder, a microSD memory card slot, color display, and supports WMA, copy protected WMA, MP3, and works with PlaysForSure-compatible services. SanDisk plans to have the player on the market in the United States and Europe in October, which will likely be after Apple announces new iPod models.
