Sonnet’s Sidekick Connects Devices to Hard-to-Reach USB Ports

Sonnet Technologies on Thursday introduced Sidekick, a USB adapter that can bend 180 degrees left or right, as well as up or down. It's designed to help users plug devices into USB ports that are hard to reach or are recessed; the latter prevents owners of flash thumb drives or Apple's iPod shuffle to connect those devices directly to the port. Pricing is US$12.95. Sidekick is compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0 ports as well as any device or cable with a Type A USB connector.
