Speck Products Takes the Wraps Off Nine iPod nano Cases

Speck Products on Wednesday announced that it will ship nine iPod nano cases in October. The line-up includes: Nano SkinTight Deluxe, which features a screen protector and a holster that works as a belt clip (US$24.95 each; two for $34.95); Nano SkinTight, rubberized skins with screen protectors that come in pink, white or black ($19.59 each; three for $29.95); Nano Cloud FunSkin, a puffy case that cushions the MP3 player in white "pillows" ($34.95); Nano Grass FunSkin, a green case designed to look as if grass is growing out of the device ($34.95); and Nano ToughSkin, a rugged black cover designed to look like tire treads ($34.95).

Speck's new iPod nano cases continue: Nano iGuy, a version of Speck's iGuy "action figure case" designed to work with Apple's latest MP3 player ($34.95); Nano Armband, which is available only in clear and which secures the iPod nano to the listener's arm ($29.95, or $34.95 with a skin); Nano Connect and Protect, a collection that includes a clear SkinTight Skin along with a holster, caribeener clip, lanyard and wrist strap ($34.95); and the Nano See-Thru 3-Pack, a set of three translucent hard cases that come in pink, blue and clear ($29.95).
