    • Mike Patton may well be one of the hardest working men in showbiz these days, and his latest with Fantômas underscores just about how far out he is willing to travel.

    • Barenaked Ladies
    • These guys know how to put on a live show, and whomever recorded this knows how to capture one. Rock Spectacle is one of the warmest-sounding recordings I've ever heard, and totally fills a room at a

    • This quasi-concept album (the only of its kind) from these Vermonters finally showcased their ability to convey a message with a studio album, whereas previously they only succeeded in doing so live.

SpyMac Asks: What Would You Do For an iPod?

SpyMac is asking the perennial question for many people: What would you do for an iPod? The Mac-oriented site has launched a new service intended to match people with an iPod on their hands and a desire for some sort of service to people willing to provide said service (and vice versa). Called the iPod Marketplace, it’s the first of its kind (that we know of) barter exchange centered around iPods.

The Marketplace offers both sides of the exchange, with people offering an iPod in exchange for a product or service, and people offering products and services in exchange for an iPod. Current listings include free design work, free labor, requests for Web site design, and related offers.

You can find the SpyMac iPod Marketplace at SpyMac’s Web site.
