Starry Night for iPhone Posted

Imaginova of Canada publishes the Starry Night astronomy software. It’s also available as a Mac OS X widget. Recently, Imaginova made available Starry Night Mobile, designed for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch, and it’s posted at Apple’s Webapps pages.

"View the sky for any date / time (10 years past and future) and any location on Earth. Identify constellations, planets, stars and other objects. Use advanced Google location search. Set location by zipcode, address or landmark (e.g. Eiffel Tower). Change aspect ratio to optimize for portrait or landscape viewing. Zoom in on any area of the sky to identify nebulas, star clusters, and more," according to the description.
