- Man, there's nothing like good, old fashioned, rock and roll... add a bit of industry resentment to that with a double-shot of cynicism, and you get one of the best "new" rock bands going. This album

- This record is perhaps U2's finest hour, yet it has been forgotten as a strange by-product of the ZooTV tour's overload, and is generally regarded by most fans as a poor effort. It is this sentiment t

T-Mobile Goes After iPhone with Wing
Monday, May 21st, 2007 at 4:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
T-Mobile unveiled its latest smart phone offering on Tuesday with Apples iPhone clearly in its sights. Like the iPhone, the Wing offers GSM/GPRS/EDGE data support, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, and a built-in Web browser and email application. Unlike the iPhone, the Wing runs Microsofts Windows Mobile 6 operating system.

Although the Wing does include a touch screen interface, it does not offer the iPhones multi-touch technology, and it sports a slide-out mini keyboard. In comparison, Apples iPhone offers an on-screen keyboard with predictive typing technology.
The Wing even falls in the same price range as the iPhone before rebates. the wing is priced at US$499.99, while the iPhone will be priced at $499 for the 4GB model or $599 for the 8GB version. After rebates and agreeing to a two-year contract, the Wing drops to $299.99.
While the Wing is available today and Apples iPhone wont be available until late June, T-Mobiles offering hasnt garnered nearly as much consumer interest. If that is any indication, T-Mobiles new consumer-oriented smart phone wont offer the iPhone much competition.
